Superhero/Action Figure Beginner Lesson 2

Description

This lesson continues to teach special needs children how to create a superhero/action figure.  This lesson includes templates for three different action poses.   Many of my students have done well with this lesson.  It continues to teach basic drawing skills and gives them a feeling of success since they are drawing on pre-drawn figures.   Artists get to experiment and design emblems, disguises, and outfits.  This lesson contains tips sheets for drawing capes and emblems, a lesson plan and adapted approaches for teaching steps of the project.  It also includes a worksheet to help artists create an identity for their character.  Artists continue to use their imagination to create original characters.(This is a great way to also work on writing skills!)  This lesson is designed to be easy to teach and could be taught in a group or as an individual lesson.

This lesson is great for:

  • Special needs kids learning basic drawing skills.
  • Teens and Tweens.
