Collage and Texture Design Beginner Lesson 1

Description

This lesson introduces an artist to creating a collage using string and paint. It teaches how to make self directed decisions, experiment and solve challenges through the creation of an abstract string design.  It offers opportunities to build basic fundamental art skills and to develop imagination. This lesson is great for younger kids with limited mobility in their hands.   It contains a materials list, tips sheet, lesson plan, and adaptive approaches for breaking down each step of the art project to completion.
